We believe in the greatness of the United States of America.
We believe God gave us freedom and liberty through the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.
We believe that life is the first inalienable right. That families by God's design make strong societies, and Christianity brings true freedom.
We believe in the culture of an armed society that is well trained and competent. That society protects all of us and keeps our freedom and liberty.

Christian's Have A Duty
"Oh bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard, Who keeps our soul among the living, And does not allow or feet to be moved." Psalm 66:8-9
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matt 28:19-20
Christians have been convinced into thinking that we are to be simply silent sweethearts in our relationship to the world, especially in the civic arena. We have forgotten that while we are to be submissive to governing authorities, We the People are the governing authority in America, and what we decide to accept, endorse, support, tolerate, or silently allow will be what we end up with. Our system of self government requires that we speak out and be heard. And it is our faith that should prompt us, standing up for our King, to make necessary loud noises to affect and impact change. Our culture that we complain so much about is in our hands, it is our responsibility, our "trust" or "talent" if you will, given to us by God. We have the ability, the voice, and the liberty to make the necessary changes in our culture. We should be doing it in mass numbers and if we don't we are consenting to a Godless culture that our posterity will be immersed in and it will difficult if not impossible to reverse without extremely painful struggles.
Our founders established a government of the people by the people, and a nation upon a united belief in God! May we once again learn true history! It would be very wise of us to heed the warning of George Washington in his farewell address:
"And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds....reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
As immorality increases in our society, the decline of the Church increases, and the prospects for conversions to Christ grow fewer and fewer every day.

God's blessings on us all,
"...But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and borugh him to an inn and took care of him." Luke10: 33-34
America's first hospital, the Pennsylvania Hospital was established by Founding Father Benjamin Franklin to "care for the sick, poor, and insane who were wandering the streets of Philadelphia". The logo Franklin created for the hospital, which it still uses today, was a picture of the Good Samaritan with the passage from Luke 10:35 beneath; "Take care of him and I will repay thee." Franklin pointed out the Biblical emphasis on helping others saying:
"The great Author of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), Whose life should be the constant object of our imitation, (as far as it is inimitable), always showed the greatest compassion and regard for the sick; His disdained not to visit and minister comfort and health to the meanest(lowest) of the people; and He frequently inculcated the same disposition in His doctrines and precepts to His disciples."
This Bible lesson indisputably shaped America's benevolent nature. Whenever there is a disaster here or in any other country, Americans rush in to help. Nations primarily secular or of a non-Biblical faith are rarely proactive in organizing humanitarian relief. And although the Scriptures are clear that it was never the responsibility of government, (but rather individual followers of Christ and the Church) to help those in need, Christian-motivated civil leaders did secure government protection for individual benevolence through various laws that encourage personal charity. As the U.S. Supreme Court once declared:
"The principles of the law of charities....prevail in all civilized countries pervaded by the spirit of Christianity" (1890).
The benevolence that characterizes America---the compassion and humanitarianism so deeply embedded into our culture is a direct product of Biblical Christianity. Eliminate such Christian influence, and the societal motivation to benevolence soon dissipates----as evidenced by non-Biblical nations across the world.

POPULATION AND THE AGE OF THE EARTH
POPULATION AND THE AGE OF THE EARTH
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it..." (Genesis 1:28). How long have people been living on the earth? The evolutionist says two million years. The Bible-believing Christian says about six thousand. Who is right?
Statistically, a couple must have 2.1 children to keep a population at the same level. In practice, this means a minimum of three children per family. Let us suppose for a moment that the biblical account of the Genesis Flood, in which just eight people survived is true. Let us further suppose that each family from this point in history had 2.4 children on average. This very modest number will take into account all the deaths through infant mortality, plagues and war. How long would it take to reach today's world population? Surprisingly, the answer is just less than five thousand years. This figure fits nicely into known historical records.
Now suppose we take the evolutionary view that mankind has been on this planet for two million years and we begin with two people--or eight (it will make little difference)--and they also had the statistical 2.4 children per family. We will finish up with a number so impossibly large that the universe itself would not hold them! Aware of this problem, the textbooks explain it away by speaking of "population stability throughout this time." This is nothing short of an appeal to a miracle!
Frankly, the biblical account is far more believable.

"the soul of America is, at its best and highest, Christian"
God's blessings for everyone,
"The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance." Psalm 33: 11-12
"The good in the United States would never have comeinto being without the blessing and power of Jesus Christ.... Whoever tries to conceive the American word without taking full account of the suffering and love and salvation of Christ is only dreaming. I know how embarrassing this matter is to politicians, businessmen, and cynics; but, whatever these honored men think, the irrefutable truth is that the soul of America is, at its best and highest, Christian."

IRS, What is social welfare?
SylviaBokorComments: A. As of 11:59 P.M.
February 12, the total number of comments regarding IRS
Reg-134417-13 ruling was 24,223 -- up from 23,334, an increase of 889
comments overnight. I have no idea how many comments will stop
the IRS ruling. But one thing seems pretty clear: while this is yet
another impressive jump upward, it may be too little too late.
Several things are working in the IRS favor. One
of them is a group of Senate Democrats, up for re-election and fearful of
their position. They are urging the IRS to take more stringent
measures.
One of the paragraphs identifying the IRS
Reg-134417-13 ruling states that "This
document contains proposed regulations that provide guidance to tax-exempt
social welfare organizations on political activities related to candidates that
will not be considered to promote social welfare.
The IRS does not bother to explain why it has the authority to decide what
the "social welfare" shall be.
If you ask what does the government -- i.e., politicians and
bureaucrats -- believe promotes the "social welfare," they will chorus
that taking money from the earners and giving it to those who did not earn it is
"social welfare."
It is not social welfare to recognize the welfare and right of the
earner to keep what he earns.
They will tell you that constructing for some a "poverty line" by
government edict is social welfare.
It is not social welfare to recognized the welfare of taxpayers that
subsidize those below the politicians and bureaucrats' idea of
poverty.
They will tell you that forcing employers to pay salaries based on their
say-so, is social welfare.
It is not social welfare to recognize the welfare and property rights
of the productive who provide the salaries.
In other words, anything politicians and bureaucrats do is social welfare.
Any private sector activity that calls for honest politicians and limited
government, which protects all Americans is not social welfare.
Ergo, we have the notion that political activity of those Americans
concerned with the welfare of our Republic does not promote "social
welfare."
This point of view is ludicrous, It is also a dangerous premise held
by those bureaucrats and politicians who advocate passage of further
restrictions on non-profits.
+++++++
B. On February 13, the National Tea Party reported 40,247 members. The growth continues. One wonders why all 40,000 of them have not commented on the IRS ruling. Perhaps the cause of indifference is the focus of its members.
On the same day, the NTP site posted an article,
"McConnell provides key vote as Congress approves debt increase." This
title was followed by the remark; "McConnell just sold out
Conservatives." I posted the following comment on the NTP site..
McConnell betrays conservatives? How about
every other American? A lot of Americans do not consider themselves
conservatives. But they are for free markets, upholding the
constitution and limiting government.
Today, the identity of "conservative" is as jumbled and confused as is the identity of "liberal." Besides which it's self-defeating to make the effort to rein in government a solely conservative cause. It is not.
We have a 2014 election facing us. We must appeal
to an electorate some of whom do not consider themselves conservatives. We are
not going to make significant strides if we isolate ourselves into a camp that
does not include all Americans.
It is more fruitful and more widely inviting if one
names the principles that guide us -- such as individual rights, limited
government and free markets. Let the Retrogrades (AKA
"Progressives") yell about their totalitarian goals. We must come together
as Americans for freedom.
McConnell, in my judgement, is an careerist politician,
an establishment Republican that must be voted out of office. There is
a good possibility that he will be.
-------
I should have added that McConnell's vote is a
vote for bigger and less responsible government. It is a vote against the
welfare of all Americans.
