Merry Christmas and Blessings from Above, 2013

Greetings to All Our Patriot Friends!
Some of you I have just now added to our e mail list. If you choose not to be on it, advise me and I will remove it right away.

I want you to know that you are in my prayers for peace and goodwill among us. You all know that I believe our faith in Jesus Christ is exclusive. He is the way, the truth and the life. Apart from Him their is no light and life. John 1; 4,"Life itself was in Him and this life gives light to everyone."

I wrote this message about three Christmas's ago for a friend. The message transcends time because God dwells in eternity where time has a beginning and an end. I hope you are blessed.

Isn't Christmas about Promise?

First and most important, the promise that we are loved, so richly and purely. Priceless! But there is so much more.... that right will prevail. That truth exist. That life is everlasting. That there are rewards for doing good and punishment for doing evil. Justice was established and is written in our hearts. There is a God in heaven and He came to live on earth in a most humble and helpless way so He could be like us.

Yes, God is intimately involved with mankind! He made all of the heavens and the earth, complete with the sun, the moon, and stars; mountains, hills, valleys; rivers, seas, oceans; clouds, rain, rainbows. All this for us! Who else could imagine such beauty? Who can speak of all the innumerable living creatures with myriad characteristics of creation? Even so, God's crowning glory is mankind!

Because He became  human in a most humble state, even though Jesus was God's One and Only Son, He learned obedience from the things He suffered. He became the source of everlasting light and life for all who obey Him.
Simeon, whom Scripture calls righteous and devout prophecied about Jesus saying, "I have seen the Saviour you have given to all people. He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and He is the glory of your people Israel!" Luke 2: 30-32. Through Him we are rescued from the sin and the law. Still today He is a source of controversy within our hearts and without. He is able to deal gently with people, though they are wayward and ignorant of holiness.

Even as that is the ultimate promise....it is better still!  In our days living under the shadow of death, He promises to be faithful and true.To be our constant companion and helper, our comfort and healer, our provider, our counselor, our peace. He is even more for the one who will search Him out, the treasure hunter.  Unbelievable? Luke 1:37, "Nothing is impossible with God."

And Jesus Christ is our King! His kingdom is coming! He promises to rule forever with fairness and justice. The world will be in peace.

Because I am His passion....He has become my passion. That is why I sing, "Glory to God in the Highest Heaven and Peace on Earth, Goodwill toward Men." Luke 2:14

Happy Thanksgiving Week End

Blessings to everyone,
"O give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples."

"Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first, most basic, expression of Americanism. Thus the Founding Fathers of America saw it, and thus with God's help, it will continue to be." ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower ~

                Air Force expert on Benghazi
"Hands" Handley is a well-respected USAF fighter pilot.
Here is his short resume of accomplishments.
Colonel Phil "Hands" Handley is credited with the highest speed air- to-air gun kill in the history of aerial combat. He flew operationally for all but 11 months of a 26-year career, in aircraft such as the F-86 Sabre, F-15 Eagle, and the C-130A Hercules.
Additionally, he flew 275 combat missions during two tours in Southeast Asia in the F- 4D and F-4E.
His awards include 21 Air Medals, 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, and the Silver Star.

Here is what Col. Handley wrote in response to Panetta and Dempsey's claims there was no time to send help to Benghazi.
  ----------------------------------------------
May 30, 2013

Betrayal in Benghazi

Phil "Hands" Handley Colonel, USAF (Ret.)

The combat code of the US Military is that we don't abandon our dead or wounded on the battlefield. In US Air Force lingo, fighter pilots don't run off and leave their wingmen. If one of our own is shot down, still alive and not yet in enemy captivity, we will either come to get him or die trying.

Among America 's fighting forces, the calm, sure knowledge that such an irrevocable bond exists is priceless.
Along with individual faith and personal grit, it is a sacred trust that has often sustained hope in the face of terribly long odds.

The disgraceful abandonment of our Ambassador and those brave ex-SEALs who fought to their deaths to save others in that compound is nothing short of dereliction-of-duty.

Additionally, the patently absurd cover-up scenario that was fabricated in the aftermath was an outright lie in an attempt to shield the President and the Secretary of State from responsibility.

It has been over eight months since the attack on our compound in Benghazi .
The White House strategy, with the aid of a "lap dog" press has been to run out the clock before the truth is forthcoming.
The recent testimonies of the three "whistle blowers" have reopened the subject and hopefully will lead to exposure and disgrace of those responsible for this embarrassing debacle.
It would appear that the most recent firewall which the Administration is counting on is the contention "that there were simply no military assets that could be brought to bear in time to make a difference" mainly due to the unavailability of tanker support for fighter aircraft.

This is simply BS, regardless how many supposed "experts" the Administration trot out to make such an assertion.

The bottom line is that even if the closest asset capable of response was half-way around the world, you don't just sit on your penguin ass and do nothing.

The fact is that the closest asset was not half-way around the world, but as near as Aviano Air Base, Italy where two squadrons of F-16Cs are based.

Consider the following scenario (all times Benghazi local):
When Hicks in Tripoli receives a call at 9:40 PM from Ambassador Stevens informing him "Greg, we are under attack!" (his last words), Hicks immediately notifies all agencies and prepares for the immediate initiation of an existing "Emergency Response Plan."

At AFRICON, General Carter Ham attempts to mount a rescue effort, but is told to "stand down".
By 10:30 PM an unarmed drone is overhead the compound and streaming live feed to various "Command and Control Agencies" so everyone watching that feed knew damn well what was going on.

At 11:30 PM Woods, Doherty and five others leave Tripoli, arriving in Benghazi at 1:30 AM on Wednesday morning, where they hold off the attacking mob from the roof of the compound until they are killed by a mortar direct hit at 4:00 AM.

So nothing could have been done, eh? Nonsense. If one assumes that tanker support really "was not available" what about this:

When at 10:00 PM AFRICON alerts the 31st TFW Command Post in Aviano Air Base, Italy of the attack, the Wing Commander orders preparation for the launch of two F-16s and advises the Command Post at NAS Sigonella to prepare for hot pit refueling and quick turn of the jets.

By 11:30 PM, two F-16Cs with drop tanks and each armed with five hundred 20 MM rounds are airborne.
Flying at 0.92 mach they will cover the 522 nautical miles directly to NAS Sigonella in 1.08 hours.
While in-route, the flight lead is informed of the tactical situation, rules of engagement, and radio frequencies to use.

The jets depart Sigonella at 1:10 AM with full fuel load and cover the 377 nautical miles directly to Benghazi in 0.8 hours, arriving at 1:50 AM which would be 20 minutes after the arrival of Woods, Doherty and their team.

Providing that the two F-16s initial pass over the mob, in full afterburner at 200 feet and 550 knots did not stop the attack in its tracks, a few well placed strafing runs on targets of opportunity would assuredly do the trick.

Were the F-16s fuel state insufficient to return to Sigonell
a after jettisoning their external drop tanks, they could easily do so at Tripoli International Airport, only one-half hour away.

As for those hand-wringing naysayers who would worry about IFR clearances, border crossing authority, collateral damage, landing rights, political correctness and dozens of other reasons not to act -- screw them. It is time our "leadership" get its priorities straight and put America's interests first.

The end result would be that Woods and Doherty would be alive.
Dozens in the attacking rabble would be rendezvousing with "72 virgins" and a clear message would have been sent to the next worthless POS terrorist contemplating an attack on Americans that it is not really a good idea to "tug" on Superman's cape.

Of course all this depends upon a Commander In Chief more concerned with saving the lives of those he put in harm's way than getting his crew rested for a campaign fund raising event in Las Vegas the next day.
It also depends upon a Secretary of State who actually understood "What difference did it make?", and a Secretary of Defense who was watching the feed from the drone and understood what the attack consisted of instead of making an immediate response that "One of the military tenants is that you don't commit assets until you fully understand the tactical situation."

YGBSM! ( "You Gotta Be Shittin' Me".)

Ultimately it comes down to the question of who gave that order to stand down? Whoever that coward turns out to be should be exposed, removed from office, and face criminal charges for dereliction of duty. The combat forces of the Untied States of America deserve leadership that really does "have their back" when
the chips are down.

FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVE ACTUALLY TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THIS, DO ONE THING FOR ME AND FORWARD IT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!  TO AVOID THIS HAPPENING  AGAIN, WHOMEVER GAVE THE "STAND DOWN" ORDER NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED!!!!

Handle it...!!!

Blessings to everyone,
"And the LORD God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Genesis 2:18........."Then the rib the rib which the LORD God had taken from man HE made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: 'This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be call Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.' Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:22-24
FAMILY VALUES: ......"husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well." I Tim 3:12....
"The family has always been the cornerstone of American society. Our families nurture, preserve, and pass on to each succeeding generation the values we share and cherish, values that are the foundations of our freedoms. In the family, we learn our first lessons of God and man, love and discipline, rights and responsibilities, human dignity and human frailty.
Our families give us daily examples of these lessons being put into practice. In raising and instructing our children, in providing personal and compassionate care for the elderly, in maintaining the spiritual strength of religious commitment among our people -- in these and other ways, America's families make immeasurable contributions to America's wellbeing.
Today more than ever, it is essential that these contributions not be taken for granted and that each of us remember that the strength of our families is vital to the strength of our nation." ~ Ronald Reagan ~

Some Early American History

Blessings to you all,
The Bible tells us that no matter what the assignment before us, we should do it as if we are doing it for the Lord Himself,....that we are to use our skill and put our heart and mind into the task. God wants the best effort from us in every area.
"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men." Col 3:23
"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father." Col 3:17
Whether, then, you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." I Cor 10:31
Too many people today tend to over-spiritualize these verses, reducing the broad term "everything" to just those things "spiritual" but that is not what these verses say.
Our Founding Fathers understood the broad scope of these passages and applied the messages to all endeavors including politics, education, law, entertainment, employment, and even dictionaries! The story of Founding Father Noah Webster's creation of his famous dictionary is an excellent illustration of how they infused the "do the absolute best I can, and do it for God" mentality in every thing they did.
Webster was one of the nation's top educators, providing the first American textbooks for classrooms. He wrote books on spelling, grammar, literature, agriculture, banking, history, government, manners, and medicine, in addition to his famous dictionary. In which he researched and traveled in order to find and understand origins and uses of words so as to properly define them. His story is fascinating and too long to share here. He used Scripture verses to illustrate the uses of words he was defining, for example: The word man was defined: "And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion." Genesis 1
Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble." Job 14 and "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone." Matt 4:4
After defining the word heart, his examples were:
"The heart is deceitful above all things" Jeremiah 17:9. "We read of an honest and good heart in Luke 8:15, of an evil heart of unbelief in Hebrews 3:12, a willing heart in Exodus 35:5, 22, a heavy heart in Proverbs 25:20, a sorrowful heart in Nehemiah 2:2, a hard heart, in Exodus 7:14, a pure heart in Matt 5:8." And so on.......Webster was so committed to doing everything for the Lord, including his massive dictionary that in the preface that that famous work, he openly dedicated it to God:
"To that great and benevolent Being, Who during the preparation of this work has sustained a feeble constitution (body) amidst obstacles and toils, disappointments, infirmities and depression; Who has borne me and my manuscripts in safety across the Atlantic and given me strength and resolution to bring this work to a close, I would present the tribute of my most grateful acknowledgements. And if the talent which He has entrusted to my care has not been put to the most profitable use in His service, I hope it has not been "kept laid up in a napkin" (Luke19:20) and that any misapplication of it may be graciously forgiven." He also announced, "I present this to my fellow citizens not with frigid indifference but with my ardent wishes for their improvement and happiness and.....the moral and religious elevation of character, and the glory, of my country."
Since it original publication in 1828, Webster's dictionary has undergone extensive censorship to remove its Christian nature; and although the most popular dictionary in America continues to bear his name, it no longer reflects the spirit of the original. Fortunately, reprints and online copies are still available and accessible for use today and highly recommended for those who wish to retain and promote a Biblical view of the English language.

"The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The balance of power is the scale of peace." Thomas Paine (1775)

My son wrote this his freshmen year at NMSU. I think he did a great job. He wrote this before we ever thought about doing American Gun Culture Club.

" Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached
to you which also you received, in which also you stand, by which you
are saved, ..... I Cor 15:1-2a
"For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised, and
if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in
your sins." I Cor 15:17
Daniel Webster (1782-1852), a leading statesman in America stated:
"The Gospel is either true history or it is a consummate fraud; it is either
a reality or an imposition. Christ was what He professed to be,or He was
an imposter. There is no other alternative.......
Every act of His pure and holy life, shows that He was the author of truth,
the advocate of truth, the earnest defender of truth, and the uncompromising
sufferer for truth.
Now considering the purity of His doctrines, the simplicity of His life, and the
sublimity of His death, is it possible that He would have died for an illusion?"

John 20:31 "....but these things are written that you may believe that Jesus Christ,
the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado, a Democrat.  In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant.  Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of America 's finest minds and leaders.  A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, 'Mexifornia,' explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was - destroying the entire state of California.  He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of 'The American Dream.'

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America.

The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States.  He said, 'If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America.  It is not that hard to do.  No nation in history has survived the ravages of time.  Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide'.''

'Here is how they do it,' Lamm said:

'First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country.  History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures.  It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual, however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual.  The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way:  'The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.  Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence.  Pakistan and Cyprus have divided.  Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion.  France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans and Muslims.'

Lamm went on:
'Second, to destroy America, invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture.  Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences.  Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority.  Every other explanation is out of bounds.

'Third, we could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort.  The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity.

As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently:  'The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multi-cultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony.  Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricy and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.  Lamm said, 'I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture.  I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor.  It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.'

'Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated.  I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population.  I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school.'

'My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money.  I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.'  I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority.  I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority plantation.'

'My sixth plan for America 's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties.  I would celebrate diversity over unity.  I would stress differences rather than similarities.  Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other.  A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precept.  People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together.  Look at the ancient Greeks.  The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshiped the same gods.    All Greece took part in the Olympic games.  A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty.  Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors - local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions.  Greece fell.  'E. Pluribus  Unum' -- From many, one.  In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we will 'Ba lkanize' America as surely as Kosovo. '

'Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits.  Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.'  I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking.  Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate.   Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-cultum, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws.  I would develop a mantra:  That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good.  I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them.'

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow.  Profound silence followed.  Finally he said, 'Lastly, I would censor Victor Davis Hanson's book 'Mexifornia.'  His book is dangerous.  It exposes the plan to destroy America.  If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.'

There was no applause.  A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference.  Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today.  Discussion is being suppressed.   Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness.  Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.'  American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America.  Take note of California and other states.  To date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast.  It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book '1984.'  In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building:  'War is peace,' 'Freedom is slavery,' and 'Ignorance is strength.'

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat.  It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast.  If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially 'The American Dream. '

Tearing apart our freedom!

Subject:  NM Supreme Court : 'Christians Must Compromise Faith To Accommodate Others'

In 2006 a pair of lesbians wanted Elane Photography to do the photos of their commitment ceremony. At the time, same-sex marriage and civil unions were not legally recognized. The owners of Elane Photography, Elaine Huguenin turned down the request because of her strong Christian faith. In typical gay privileged mentality, Vanessa Wilcox, one of the lesbians, filed a complaint to the New Mexico Human Rights Commission claiming that she had been discriminated because of her sexual orientation.

In 2008, the New Mexico Human Rights Commission ruled in Wilcox favor and ordered Huguenin to pay Wilcox $6,639.94 in legal fees. The Christian photography appealed and the case was heard the same year and the court upheld the commission's ruling. In 2009, with the aid of the Alliance Defending Freedom, the case was appealed to the New Mexico Court of Appeals. The appeals court also upheld the commission's ruling against the photographer saying: "The owners of Elane Photography must accept the reasonable regulations and restrictions imposed upon the conduct of their commercial enterprise despite their personal religious beliefs that may conflict with these governmental interests."

After the ruling of the appeals court, Jordan Lorence, Senior Vice President of the Office of Strategic Planning and Senior Counsel for ADF commented: "Americans in the marketplace should not be subjected to legal attacks for simply abiding by their beliefs. Should the government force a videographer who is an animal rights activist to create a video promoting hunting and taxidermy? Of course not, and neither should the government force this photographer to promote a message that violates her conscience. Because the Constitution prohibits the state from forcing unwilling artists to promote a message they disagree with, we will certainly appeal this decision to the New Mexico Supreme Court." What is at stake in this case is the right of every Christian business owner to abide by their faith in the business world.

If the NM Supreme Court and US Supreme Court uphold the commission's ruling, it would set the precedent that would allow every gay person to intentionally target Christian businesses and business owners to force them to go against their faith or be sued in court and pay dearly for their faith. Some gays could see this as a means of getting money without really working for it, which is the Democratic way these days.

The New Mexico Supreme Court just made their ruling and they upheld the commission's ruling. In the court's ruling, Justice Richard C. Bosson stated that Elane Photography should have taken the photos of the lesbian ceremony because that is the price of citizenship. He also wrote that at times like this, people: "…must compromise, if only a little, to accommodate the contrasting values of others," in what he referred to as a "multicultural, pluralistic society." Notice that it is always the Christians who are being ordered by the courts and government to compromise their faith and not the other way around. Christians are told that they need to respect the values of others, but I've yet to hear any judge say that others need to respect the values of Christians.

Lorence responded to the disappointing decision of the NW Supreme Court, telling OneNewsNow: "Government-coerced expression is a feature of dictatorships that has no place in a free country. This decision is a blow to our client and every American's right to live free." "The discrimination laws simply cannot be applied in this manner to force people to present messages that they don't agree with." "Decisions like this undermine the constitutionally protected freedoms of expression and conscience that we have all taken for granted. America was founded on the fundamental freedom of every citizen to live and work according to their beliefs and not to be compelled by the government to express ideas and messages they decline to support."

Lorence and the ADF are now contemplating on whether or not they will appeal to the US Supreme Court. If they don't appeal and allow the NM Supreme Court ruling to stand, every Christian business and business owner will be targeted by gay activists who only want to ruin their business and reap lots of money in the process.

The case needs to be appealed to the US Supreme Court where the rights of Christians need to be upheld and others are told that they need to also compromise their values sometimes.

It's unconstitutional for one group of people to be forced to compromise their values and beliefs for another group that doesn't have to compromise their values or beliefs. That's not freedom or equality, it's tyranny and dictatorship. There is an awful lot riding on this case for Christians throughout America and we all need to be praying and supporting the Alliance Defending Freedom in their efforts to fight for all of us.

Our local county clerk has by a spectacular fiat of manipulation given marriage license to same gender couples.

Open letter to Lynn Ellins, Dona Ana County Clerk.

Dear Mr. Ellins,
Your decision to grant marriage licenses to same sex couples was made apart from wise council.  It was made apart from the will of the people, apart from the laws of our land and apart from the laws of nature and nature’s God. You acted apart from tradition, all of human history and apart from the faith most of us hold dear. How did you come to disrespect all that and us, the people?
I dare say the large majority of your constituents hold these things to be self evident. How do you not see it? Did you surround yourself with people who constantly whine about how unfair their life is? They want legal rights that really have nothing to do with the true reason for marriage….that of raising safe, healthy children who are provided the best a father and mother can give, socially and financially. These laws were derived from the people as it says in the Constitution of New Mexico. That is the legal reason for marriage. It is God’s design and it works. It builds a strong society.
Now you can tear it down, but you can never build it. It took moral giants like our Founding Fathers to give us this great American freedom and peace we have enjoyed.  George Washington, for example, refused to allow men to bathe naked at or near the Bridge in Cambridge. It was complained that many men were lost to all sense of decency and common modesty.
Prudish you say? Maybe, but what we have now causes problems especially with our youth. The foundation of our nation gave us this culture of freedom. It is a Christian culture.Apart from it you will be controlled in every detail of your life by government bureaucrats. Yes plenty of authoritarians such as yourself can do fiats of law to suit their every whim and you will find out you don’t agree. It won’t matter.
It’s probable, Mr. Ellins, that you grew up in a safe and wholesome culture. Sodomy and adultery were illegal and our mores would have been offended by co-habitating out of wedlock and sex before marriage. Divorce was rare.  Forty years ago the sexual revolution allowed us to throw off the restraints of the responsibility of commitment.  Make no mistake, all that opened the door to the extreme homosexual behavior we see today.  Just look at the consequences. Abortion, rampant std’s, AIDS, fatherless children,  abused children, rape, pornography, divorce…..
America was great because she was good. Why change our glory? You push all the foundations of liberty out then you will no longer enjoy the blessings of prosperity and peace. There will be no solutions, only consequences.  A storm is brewing…..get ready to ride.

"WE HAVE NO KING BUT KING JESUS!"

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority that except from God,
and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Romans 13:1
The institution of government is ordained by God. He established Israel as a republic, in which the people
would choose their own representatives to rule over them. Exodus chapter 18,....Deuteronomy 1:13-16 ; 16:18
through Moses and Jethro. Civil governance for Israel was established in the federal form, a nation governed
by a written law, or constitution, delivered by God from Mt Sinai, and within the nation were several independent
self-governing states (the twelve tribes). The national government was headed by Moses and a national legislature
composed of a council of seventy elders, or what we would call senators. (Exodus 19:7; 24:1; Numbers11:16-17).
However God's people later rebelled and insisted on having a king, and so God, after warning
them gave them a king. I Samuel chapters 8 and 9.

During the Revolutionary war, (which I might add was a civil war because the colonists were British citizens defending
themselves against a tyrannical king) all of the leaders declared their belief, and faith in God and that this war was in fact
justified based on their understanding of scripture. God wants government ad civil order in a society, and they were
defending themselves against tyrannical leaders who had themselves rebelled against God ad were attempting to
enforce behavior and policies that caused citizens to violate God's Word. It was also an act of self defense against
British military attacks on the colonists.

On April 18, 1775 John Adams and John Hancock were at the home of Rev. Jonas Clarke, a Lexington pastor and militia leader. That same night Paul Revere arrived to warn them of the approaching Redcoats. The next morning British Major Pitcairn shouted to an assembled regiment of Minutemen; "Disperse, ye villains, lay down your arms in the name of George the Sovereign King of England." The immediate response of Rev. Jonas Clarke or one of his company was:

"We recognize no Sovereign but God and no King but Jesus."

In this crucial hour of our nation’s history it is past time that the true saints of God give total allegiance to the Kingship of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. The crisis of the ages demands that we renew the historic battle-cry of our Christian Forefathers

"WE HAVE NO KING BUT KING JESUS!"

"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ!" Patrick Henry

"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty...of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers." John Jay, First Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
-- Revelation 11:15

Column - The radical I have become - 700 words

© 2013 Michael Swickard, Ph.D.

Ronald Reagan explained he did not leave the Democrat party, the Democrat party left him. The principles he embraced when he joined the Democrats were no longer being embraced. Reagan had three choices: first, try to change those core values back to what they were when he joined the party. Second, he could belong to a party not representing his principles. Or third, he could leave, which is what he ultimately did.

Reagan became a Republican and the rest is history. His core principles stayed the same, but his political label changed. What party would Reagan join today? His core beliefs are central to neither major party.

Lately I am seen as a radical for my core beliefs. What beliefs? That we Americans are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Further, that with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we Americans mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor in defense of our country.

My beliefs in God, the U. S. Constitution and my right to protect myself were mainstream in the society to which I was born. I still pray to God each day and view the Constitution as the guiding principle for our nation including my right to have and use a means to protect myself.

Know this: the God of my birth is still my God. The Constitution of my nation’s birth is still my Constitution. My right to protect myself, a right I had at birth, is still paramount.

In high school I brought scripture into discussions as I am known to do today on my syndicated radio program. But there has been a change in our country to where my belief in God, the Constitution and its guarantees is out of favor with the media and the leaders of both major political parties.

Several decades ago leaders spoke about God’s role in our nation. No longer do they do so. In fact, people like me who speak religion and the Constitution along with its guarantees are labeled radicals. We hold our Bible, Constitution and our weapons of defense close to our heart.

Some in the media and our government say citizens like me are a danger to our country. They say we are more dangerous than terrorists who blow up buildings. What utter madness. Those who took God and the Constitution out of our country are the danger to our country.

These last generations removed God from all but the Supreme Court. What irony for the Supreme Court Justices to look at those Ten Commandments on their own walls while ruling the same Ten Commandments cannot be displayed on other public buildings. We are being fed a constant diet of Constitutional betrayal.

Almost everything I learned in school about our country seems to not be taught. Many Americans cannot identify any of the people on our currency and coins. They cannot explain why these citizens are thus honored.

My first memories involved watching my father in his military uniform march in a military parade. We as a nation were proud of our military. We appreciated their sacrifices. Now, almost none of our leaders have even served in the military much less are they having their children serve.

A slogan I recently observed: America is not at war; America is at the mall while the military is at war. The men and women giving us liberty are not appreciated by the media or either political party. No one has their back except a few of us old citizens who still say and mean, “Thank you for your service to our country.”

Regardless of the scorn put upon me by mainstream Americans and their media I will remain with my Bible and Constitution. Their way is the way of an assured disaster by the forces of evil in this world.

At some point the nation will need us to bring America back to God and the Constitution. I pray that the few of us with our Bibles and Constitutions can start the rebuilding of this nation.

And we will be radicals no longer in our nation.

Hollywood Review

One movie, half a dozen trailers, and several TV sitcoms this last week convinced me propaganda is alive in the entertainment industry.  The common themes were fantasy, mayhem, madness, knife violence and gun violence. Gory and graphic.  Guns, guns; images of multiple people all pointing guns at each other simultaneously. Seeing the scene once would not have aroused my suspicion, but seeing it over and over again,  it did.  Really? Whats the point? If guns represent authority, and they do, then who is in control of a situation like that? Makes the purpose of a gun mute in a way that seems insane.

The anti-gun crowd in Hollywood  can’t get away from guns on the big screen. They follow a copycat script and hammer the images into our brains. Those same movie producers and dark stars call for gun bans when violence erupts in our schools and in our streets.  Hypocrits.

Insidious culture conditioning corrupts and enslaves the hearts and minds of a free people. Don’t be deceived, bad company(influences, associations) corrupt good thoughts and habits. These things are not entertaining in real life but utterly dreadful.  Think of a generation of kids who are fed fantasy, madness, mayhem, and violence every weekday and  weekend but refuse the gospel of freedom on Sunday morning. Where are we going?
This yellow brick road has already led to disillusionment. Can we get back home? Watch out for yourself and your family.

Those screen-writers who feed us these films are already enslaved to darkness and decay and live in the dust and ashes of our current existence yet they know it not. They may live luxuriously for the moment and enjoy a bit of fame but inside their souls they are already dead.  The cold stones over their grave sites will be their only memorials in time. In eternity they won’t be remembered.

Perspectives on the law.

A collection from a friend on Facebook.....

"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything." Acts 6:12

"Without liberty, law loses its nature and its name, and becomes oppression. Without law, liberty also loses its nature and its name, and becomes licentiousness."
--James Wilson, Lectures on Law, 1790
Representative for Pennsylvania to the Continental Congress

Liberty is freedom with morality. So liberty is much more valuable,..it is a trust, a precious possession, a stewardship,... a right that we are responsible for and will give an answer for. It is so much more valuable than mere freedom. Liberty, second only to life, is a right endowed by our Creator with the capacity for self-government, and it is worth fighting for and even dying for. It is a a part of each of us,... just like our mind, our emotions, our will and our spirit, because it is from God.
Alexander Hamilton said that real liberty is never found in the extremes of Democracy,....we are a Republic, and our Constitution guarantees us a Republican form of Government.

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"

Unique culture

Here is a link to a good article:

"America still has plenty of rifles, at least for the moment. What she lacks is individuals–men and women alike–who seek to turn the aspiration of a “nation of riflemen” into a fact."
And this above quote is partly why I teach the fundamentals of precision marksmanship. Predominately thru Project Appleseed.

Muzzle Flash

Here are some cool pictures I took during a recent night shoot. My brother William is shooting a .357 caliber Colt Python. It looks like a beast at night. You dont really notice it during the day, but when the sun goes down you find that your entire hand is engulfed by a fireball. Cool stuff!!
